The longest it's worked has been for 2-3 hours. If I restart the computer it connects fine but then the same thing happens again. This laptop came preloaded with windows 8, and as I mentioned before, I've checked all the drivers so it can't be a hardware issue right? And if its not an issue with windows, then is there some special configuration needed for wifi networks to connect to a windows 8 computer? Cause I read somewhere that WEP keys aren't supported and my home network security is WPA2-PSK. I've turned roaming down to low as well if that matters. I've also just recently noticed that the wifi indicator (the white light on my hp) turns orange (the indicator for airplane mode) right before it says can't connect to this network and then turns back white. I even made sure that the power management settings were disabled and I've checked all my drivers and they are all up to date. I'm positive that the issue is not with the wifi cause it works properly on every other laptop in the house as well as on every mobile device.
I just recently bought an HP Pavilion 17-e049wm from Walmart and ever since I booted it up for the first time there has been this one consistent issue it won't connect to my home network, and if it does, it disconnects within an hour and if I try to reconnect it says ' Can't connect to this network '.
