There are a few minor flaws with the story and characters, as with most movie games, that don't line up with the film. The game play offers a platforming/beat-‘em-up with a variety of upgradable fighting moves and costumes (much like Activision's Spiderman Movie games). Kung Fu Panda is no exception, and excels in the classic 3D Platform style that resembles favorites like Crash Bandicoot. However, some of Activision's best games have been based on film titles. In fact, in the last decade or so, they're usually among the worst games of all time. As a general rule, movie-based games aren't usually the best.
